Situated right in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Singapore, you can walk to shopping centers to the left, to the right, infront, and even at the back of the hotel.Since the hotel is in the middle of Orchard Road, probably that one street in Singapore where almost everything is, we spent the the trip discovering the perks of staying right smack in the middle of Orchard Road, which houses the best food and retail spaces Singapore has to offer. One of the best things about staying in Mandarin Orchard is the fact that it is connected to their own little mall, Mandarin Gallery. Although their stores are more high-end compared to the likes of the stores in Wisma Atria, it was The Great Singapore Sale after all, so I spent time shopping there. I forgot to take photos of the interiors of the mall (mainly because I was going crazy over the shops), but I was able to take a photo of the hallway connecting the hotel to Mandarin Gallery. Now that I think I’ve pretty much established that the location of Mandarin Orchard is on point, let me talk about their gorgeous and incredible spacious guestrooms.Upon entering our room, I was glad to be back in Asia, considering how frustrating European standards for hotels could be. It was incredibly spacious and gave us a view of Marina Bay from afar. The bathroom, which housed a toilet for both men and ladies, two sinks, and a shower and a bathtub, is probably one of my favorite hotel room bathrooms to date. They had a complete set of toiletries and towels too, which was changed everyday.
Mandarin Orchard is now our top hotel choice in the Lion City, since it offers not only top-notch service, but great room quality and winning location as well. Also, they have a wonderful breakfast spread to boot, so let me end this post with photos of their fantastic breakfast spread:
